Customizing the Expanded List View

Modified on Fri, 24 May at 2:14 PM

TabTool organizes various data in the form of lists. For example, there are lists of scheduled tasks, contacts, issues, and more.

To efficiently edit lists without having to open the file of each list entry, there is the "Expanded List View" function.

Note: The Expanded List View is currently only available for lists in folders, not for lists of relations (which you can recognize by thesymbol).

You can access this by clicking on the iconin the toolbar directly above a list.

As a result, the list opens in a full-screen view with additional columns and search fields. Each list entry (except for automatically generated numbering) can be edited directly in the list.

In the expanded list view, nearly all details relevant to each individual record can be displayed.

You can expand the default columns with additional ones or swap them out for other columns.

To edit the list view, click on theicon in the toolbar at the top right.

A pop-up window opens where you can configure settings for the expanded list view. For detailed instructions, refer to the help article "Change List Settings via the List Menu."

Note: Not all displayed editing options are available for the expanded list view. For instance, it is not possible to display list entries as tiles.

The most relevant section for customizing the expanded list view is "Changing Column Contents" in the linked help article above.
