How to change or reset your TabTool password

Change your password


To change the password for your TabTool user account, first log in to the TabTool Office web application.


Click on the user icon in the top-right corner of the menu bar. In the lower menu bar that opens, click on "My Account."




In your user account, click the buttonmarked with a key icon.




In the window that now opens, enter your new password and confirm by clicking "Change Password." Please note any requirements for password strength, which are listed to the left below the input fields.





If your entered password does not meet the minimum strength requirements set by your administrator, you will receive an error message.



In that case, choose a new password that meets the specified requirements.


Reset a Forgotten Password


Have you forgotten your TabTool account password and want to reset it? No problem — here are your options:


a) Reset the password yourself via email

If you can receive emails at the address linked to your TabTool account, you can reset your password yourself.


To do this, open the login page of the TabTool Office web application and click "Forgot password?"




A window will open with a text field where you enter the email address linked to your TabTool account. Confirm by clicking the "Reset" button. You will then receive an email with further instructions to reset your password.


b) Have the password reset by an administrator

If you’ve forgotten your TabTool password and can no longer receive emails at the address linked to your account, consult the TabTool administrator in your company. They have access to the TabTool user management system and can reset your password for you, as well as link your account to a new email address.
