In TabTool, you have the option to create a PDF report from the data entered into a form. This report provides a comprehensive documentation that you can share with clients or archive for future reference.
To generate a report in TabTool, there are two possible methods:
1. Click on the burger menu of the form from which you want to create the report and select the command "Save new version."
2. Scroll to the "Reports" section of the form. In this area, you'll find three action buttons next to the label "Reports." Klick the-Icon to create a new report PDF.
TabTool thus creates a report file that is directly stored in the bottom row and can be opened by clicking on the window that will pop up.
If you don't immediately want to open the report, you can just close the window.
If some time later you want to take a look at the report before downloading it, klick on the-Icon and then on "Open Preview" in the window popping up. This will open a preview of the report in a new tab.
Though it is possible to download the report directly from the preview, we recommend to use the dowload icon in the Reports-section of the form, as this way your report will receive a correct designation right away.
Report Preview for Multiple Files
A report preview can also be created for multiple files. To do this, select the ones you want to include in the report from the file list by activating the checkboxes left to the files names. Then click on the burger menu in the top right corner above the file list and choose "Only selected" from the menu list. Thus, a collective report with the contents of the selected files will be created.
